This fun and romantic Iceland Adventure Elopement shoot in Borgarnes was the perfect introduction to Iceland for this adventerous couple

Borgarnes Iceland Adventure Elopement

I had the privilege of meeting up with Weronika and Sylvester for an Iceland Adventure Elopement shoot during a spring visit to Iceland. I had just completed a road trip around the ring road and they had just arrived. I’m not revealing anything groundbreaking here but Iceland is truly an incredible place (I talk about it at length in my personal posts on the trip). We were short on travel time so we stuck very close to Reykavik for our shoot- yes there are more epic places in Iceland than this little braided river through the countryside, but it was so fun watching Weronika and Sylvester see Iceland for the first time. It was like an Iceland appetizer 😉 And truly (truly truly) I love an epic landscape, but my hands down favorite thing is couples having fun. And these two were still high off landing in the land of fire and ice and overjoyed by the beauty around us.

One of my favorite things about what I do is hearing and bonding with the couples I work with. I loved talking about future trips, favorite trips, and what was still left to do during our travels. I also got to gush about New Zealand which is something I take advantage of… basically whenever possible. Weronika gave me some recommendations for the Golden Circle (the remaining part of my trip) which included a tomato greenhouse with THE BEST SOUP ever, and I gave the couple tips on a secret waterfall I encountered on my roadtrip (though, Iceland has so many waterfalls saying one is secret, feels a little silly).

We had a wonderful morning together. Travel is jus the greatest thing. Without it, I never would have met these two Eurpoean souls. And I’m so glad our paths crossed and I feel honored to have been part of this Iceland adventure elopement shoot.
