A + P reached out to me totally stoked on Yosemite– taken with the ridiculous views and world class climbing they planned an adventure of a lifetime, journeying from their home in Dublin to the center of the universe for their Taft Point Elopement 🙂 And in the spirit of full disclosure, the had to wait quite a bit to have their day- they were supposed to elope in the spring but the Sierras got a truly ridiculous (300+%) amount of snow, and the spots they wanted to include in their day would be inaccessible except via a 10 mile round trip hike (which some folks can get rightly stoked on- but is not for everyone on their wedding day 😉 )
“We’ve already waited so long, what’s another few months” was their stance, so they postponed their date. Conditions were looking good, we were stoked….
And then US Government threatened to shut down. I remember watching the news that week, with so much unknowns, making up a bunch of contingencies in my mind in case we couldn’t access the park but PHEW the shutdown was avoided (a good thing for so many reasons) which meant- this Yosemite elopement was well and truly on 🙂
It was a magical day and I had so much fun hanging out with these two, taking in the views and talking about adventures. The magic of Yosemite is such a real and tangible thing. We started the day before the sun rose with tea, watching light filter over Half Dome. Then we ventured among ancient giants for a short and sweet ceremony. We ended the elopement with a sunset celebration at Taft Point; a well known, iconic, and unparalleled spot. It was all so great- I’m smiling just sitting here thinking about it.
A + P? You’re amazing. Thank you so so much for the honor of being a part of your day. I hope the rest of your stay in Yosemite was incredible 🙂

We tied the knot in Yosemite National Park last October and Aimee made it more special than we could have ever imagined. Her photography is incredible, her pictures surpassed our wildest expectations and we’ve lost count of the number of our friends and family who’ve said they’re the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen.
Aimee also made the day itself a really special experience. She went above and beyond by scouting the locations in advance and her attention to detail was clear in how smoothly the day flowed. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and meticulous planning. We had to change our wedding date quite late in the day, Aimee not only accommodated the change but did so with genuine care and support.
Aimee is not only immensely talented but also incredibly kind and fun to be around. Spending the day with her was an absolute joy and she is a complete pro in helping us feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. We never felt rushed and always felt we had enough time to be in the moment, enjoy the views and explore the stunning location.
Aimee, we can’t thank you enough. Your fun spirit added an extra sparkle to our wedding adventure and the pictures will bring us joy for a lifetime.
Thanks again for everything, come visit us in Ireland soon!
