From the get go, it was apparent these two wanted to have away that was true to them, epic, and fun. And I think you’ll see in these photos, that’s exactly what happened.
Something you don’t see in these photos, is that in the weeks leading up to their elopement, the weather was… interesting. Rain was called for their day, and to C + S’s everlasting credit, they didn’t even bat an eye and were happy to and stoked to roll with with whatever Mother Nature threw at us. But we lucked out and the weather was truly ::chefs kiss:: perfect.
We started their day at a beautiful arch, where the couples exchanged their vows (with Ruth, Moab officiant officiating their ceremony) and took some portraits exploring around the arch. Other tourists waved and congratulated the couple (a truly wholesome thing that happens during almost every elopement). We took a quick stop to explore a slot canyon and took some super fun photos with the couples convertible they rented (pro tip! Renting a fun car really adds to your elopement adventure. Either a jeep or sports car- really makes things fun).
Afterwards, we headed to one of my favorite over looks for cake, sunset, and some dancing in car headlights. Truly, it was SUCH a fun day. C + S totally met their goal- had an amazing day that was totally them and so much fun. It was such a joy to see them experience the magic of Moab.
